No, like people have said they have to break in the cleats first. What they didn't say though is that Nike/Adidas has a foot mold of the player so, the cleats are already in the shape of their foot, by breaking in it's mostly for experimenting (the feel, shooting/dribbling/passing).
I would imagine they have quite a few pairs of boots to alternate between, but having a brand new pair of cleats for each game. Absolutely not. if there's 80 something games in a season, they're not going to give them 80 new pairs of cleats.

Agree with all the other answers so far. They must have a break in period even though the boot is most likely molded for the player already. (Even molded boots need a break in)
Typically I would get boots as I requested them. Once I started to see a breakdown I would ask and I always had a extra pair based on the pitch.
With new styles coming out and companies looking to get you into a boot, they offer in training sessions. You wear the boot a bit and provide feedback. If the boot is very nice you request a pair. If you don't care for it, you pass and continue with what you currently have.

Some do that. Most get them about a week before to break them in. They are usually different designs though. Some players like the brand new cleats but most dont

I wouldn't say that Americans hate soccer. After all, there are lots of soccer camps in America. But I think what you mean is that why do Americans not watch soccer. Well, it's kind of complicated, but here's the story. In soccer, there are no commercials until halftime. The media HATES that because they can't make their money from advertisements on soccer games. The advertisements in soccer are on the wall around the pitch and advertisements in American sports (like football) are thrown in every time they can get. There's several commercial breaks in American football. I've actually calculated it and I discovered that it takes 3 hrs. (yes, 3 hrs.) to play 1 hr. of football. RIDICULOUS! I was so annoyed with commercials every time it changed possessions. But in soccer commercials are awesome because they only happen at the half. So, in a nutshell, the media hates soccer, not Americans.

no- they actually get them in practice to break them in the week or so before a really big or televised game.
