I am in the same situation as you. I played a 7 year career and we just about match up. I have an extremely quick burst of speed which is vital for the forward position. Mid-fielders should have a high cross and plenty of stamina so that isn't for you. Forward because when you can receive crosses and head them in, or handle quick passes, this is all you. Show you're coach that you can finish anyway, because how a goal looks doesn't matter, its a goal! Good luck, seems like you have the traits of a forward, a fun position!

Understanding soccer field positions can only

really be understood by actually getting out

on the field and playing them. Leave the Playstation

or the xbox for when it is cold ,raining, or when its

dark outside. Understanding comes through

actual application.

most of those make no sense

WB = Wing back. Plays left of right defence but goes forward when possible down the wing

We dont have CWP. It must be SWP which means Sweeper. (kind of defender who covers other defenders.[sweeps the space posterior to the defenders])
