Soccer or Football???

Which is better- soccer or american football?

I cannot decide.

i think soccer is way better. it takes way more raw skills than football. it also requires speed, really high endurance because you're running and sprinting for 45 min straight, you get 15 min to rest then you do it again, you have to be able to handle a ball with your feet, it takes good team, you have to be smart and able to think under pressure, you have to be physically strong to fight against the other players, and if they beat you, you have to sprint after them and chase them down, then fight them more, and then even if you win you have to sprint some more to get away from them and get the ball in the net. soccer is an incredibly hard sport and is also way more exciting to watch. theres so much more skill than football, and soccer keeps going for 90 minutes, where as football stops about every 5 seconds and then doesnt start again for 3 minutes. sorry that i keep rambling. if you cant tell, i love soccer. its way better than football.

I like soccer better when I am playing the game, and football when I am watching. And to footballs defense, there are some serious athletes on those fields. Most wide receivers SPRINT a good 30-50 yards and then jog back just in time to do it again without much rest. And I see plenty of soccer guys rest while the ball is on the other end of the field.

Why in America is it soccer when the British invented the game and named it football and if i'm not mistaken isn't soccer older than American football? so shouldn't Americans call it football?

Football (soccer). In American football they dont even use their ********* feet!



In american football they rest every down going back into formation. They switch between offence and defence getting a break.



In REAL FOOTBALL its 45 mins of nonstop running with a short break and another 45 mins of nonstop running. No breaks here my friend. You also have to use your feet, which is way harder then using your hands and just running.

American football. In my opinion, soccer is boring since their is little scoring and the games a very long. But saying that I live in the States. I've played both and I find football much harder and also harder on the body.

of course soccer because the soccer player has to be fit , he has to sprint, to shoot, to pass, also he has to be tall to get head but football is like fighting if you are weak or short you can't be able to play it also girls can't play football otherwise they all will be dead after the game ,,,,,,,,,,i am a boy not a girl
