wat i mean is the player commit a foul n he earned a yellow card , but after that he commit another serious foul(which can be straight red). So he will receive the 2nd yellow card n get sent off , or he will receive a straight red n get sent off(providing tat he already get a yellow card earlier in the same game).

Yes. A yellow card may be followed by a straight red card if the player is deemed to have committed an offense tantamount to dismissal.

there are a couple of ways to get a red card. If you commit a serious foul you can get a straight red card and you will be sent off immediately. If it is just a really bad foul then you will get a yellow card as a warning. If you get another yellow card then it results in a red card and you are sent off. You can also go straight to a red card once you have already gotten a yellow if the foul is serious enough, but referees don't usually do that. They will usually just give you a second yellow.

if it is a yellow card offense then give a second yellow

if it's a red card offense...straight red

I've done this before....wow it was a dirty game that's all i'm saying. I dished out a hand full of cards.

A red card is an automatic send off. You don't require a yellow prior to the red.

both can happen, if its a very serious foul like you said, he may just get a red and no second yellow.

but they both do the same, since 2 yellow = 1 red

so he's expelled anyway.

How about we all delvelop a thicker skin and stop whinging the "he said this and he called me that" routine! sledging is always in the game, has been since the game was invented and any team that says they dont do it (or supporter who says there team doesnt do it) are full of $h!t! come on people, how about we all grow up a little bit and get over it! you know an umpire should say when some player (and i dont care if hes Indian, Australian or playing for bloody Malawi {who's captain would then be adopted by Brad and Ang}) runs up to him and says "he called me...." "get over it and get back to the game pal!" it about time some of these players hardened up and stopped the sooking, this isnt primary school, its test bloody cricket and if you cant handle it, then pi$$ off!
