I'm playing flag football and since I lost my soccer cleats (I don't play anymore though) my mom bought good quality cleats on sale. however, i noticed that they are baseball cleats (with the toe spike) with rubber spikes, not metal.

Is it okay if I use the baseball cleats to play flag football? it's on grass. and also could I use them to play soccer?
please&thanks! :(
it'd be convenient to just use the baseball cleats but i'm wondering if they'll be a problem...

I cannot imagine any soccer referee that would let you play with such cleats. Sharp spikes or toes just cannot be used.

Nah, it wouldn't be a good idea. The whole point of soccer cleats is that they're well formed to your foot so you can have a better touch on the ball. The baseball cleats are clompy and thick; you won't be able to play as skillfully as you'd like. Not to mention referees check the positioning of the spikes on the bottom of your cleats and the baseball ones typically have one at the very front of the toe which aren't allowed during soccer matches. My best advice is to go buy some soccer cleats. Specifically adidas.

you can use the baseball cleats for football. but you really can't for soccer. the baseball shoe was made for running on dirt and grass....not for kicking. if the toe spike, it's hard for you to get your toe under a ball and kick. also, not good for striker, trapping, passing, or scrolling the ball.
