I noticed that glider soccer balls were very cheap. When I looked at the information for the soccer ball it did not say anything about what a glider is. Before I think about buying this product I want to know exactly what it is.

Balls like the Jabulani are very light and so when you shoot them, the wind will pick it up and it will literally "glide" in midair the harder you kick it. So basically if you like a ball that floats in the air, pick one up.
I have the Jabulani and I personally like the gliding effect. You should also know that with gliders, the curve is more extreme because once again it is carried by the wind.
Hope I helped.

The glider series is considered a practice quality ball not a match quality ball. It is made of lower end materials and the construction is simpler. For example, rather than having several layers of cotton and polyester as a lining, the glider series is only nylon wound. The ball should hold up fine in average use and for practicing with.
